건축공방이 시적이면서도 강력한 생태적 회복을 선보입니다.

문화도시 서울
우리의 비전은 문화적 풍요로움이 일상 속에 녹아든 도시, 서울을 만드는 것이다. 문화도시 서울은 시민들이 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 문화적 경험과 상호작용을 통해 삶의 질을 높이는 도시가 된다.
덮개공원은 도시의 대표적인 공간으로서, 수많은 시민의 일상적인 삶이 이어지는 공간이 될 것이다. 이 곳은 포용적이고 환영하는 공간으로, 서울의 다양한 문화적 특성을 반영하도록 설계된다.
서울의 큰 산과 넓은 강이라는 자연환경을 배경으로, 우리의 제안은 서울의 역사적 과정 속에서 함께 고민하고 소망하는 진정한 상징의 의미를 담고 있다. 우리는 이 곳이 서울을 드러내는 길잡이가 되고, 시간의 흐름 속에 기억되는 모습이 되기를 희망한다.

“한강의 풍경, 기억의 유산”
우리는 아름다운 도시에 살고 있다.
조선시대 진경산수의 대가인 겸재 정선의 작품은 한강의 생태적인 모습을 고스란히 간직하여 우리에게 전해준다. 흐릿하게 남아 있는 흑백의 60년대 한강의 풍경 사진은 볼수록 옛 경관을 그리워하게 만들었다.
우리의 계획은 한강의 풍경이 단절의 풍경이 아닌 치유의 풍경이 되는 것이다. 물과 같이 유연하게 잔잔히 흐르면서 수평적으로 퍼지는 덮개의 모습은 하늘과 산, 주변의 도시를 차별없이 끌어안는 도시의 배경이 되어준다. 이제 우리는 더 이상 겸재 정선이 바라보던 한강의 진경을 볼 수 없다. 아주 오래전에 사라진 풍경들 대신 한강 주변에는 인공적인 풍경들이 늘어나고 있다. 강의 아름다움은 강물에만 있는 것이 아니라 땅과 경계를 이루는 불규칙한 형상의 강변에도 있다. 그동안 치수와 교통에만 집중했던 계획은 물을 품는 삶에 대한 계획으로 변화된다. 가상적이고 인위적인 것으로 가득한 집단기억의 창고에 새로운 상징과 의미를 채우는 일이 남아 있다.
우리의 제안은 잊혀진 풍경을 되살리고, 생태적인 회복의 시작을 상징적으로 이루어가는 첫 여정이다.
우리의 제안은 인위적인 선으로 이루어진 건축물이 아닌 가장 자연스러운 한강의 풍경을 표현하고 있다.

Scenery of Han River, Legacy of Memory
Seoul, the City of Culture
Our vision is to create a city where cultural richness is woven into everyday life. Culture City Seoul will be a city where citizens naturally interact with cultural experiences in everyday life, enhancing the quality of life.
The Covered Park will be the city’s signature space, a place where many people’s daily lives are connected. It will be an inclusive and welcoming space, designed to reflect the diverse cultural characteristics of Seoul.
Based on the natural environment of Seoul’s large mountains and wide rivers, our proposal is truly symbolic of the city’s historical journey and collective dreams. We hope that this place will be a guide to reveal Seoul, and that it will be remembered in the flow of time.

We live in a beautiful city.
The work of Jeongseon, a master of Jingyeong Sansu from the Joseon Dynasty, preserves and conveys to us the ecological landscape of the Han River. The more we looked at the faded black-and-white photos of the Han River scenery from the
60s, the more nostalgic we became for the past. Our plan is for the Han River scenery to become a scenery of healing rather than a scenery of disconnection. The horizontally spreading cover, flowing as fluidly as water, becomes a backdrop for a city that embraces the sky, mountains, and surrounding cities without discrimination. Today, we no longer have the view of the Han River that Chung Jae Jeong-sun had; it has long since disappeared, and in its place are a growing number of artificial scenery.
The beauty of the river lies not only in the water, but also in the irregularly shaped riverbanks that border the land. Plans that have been focused on controlling water and transportation are transformed into plans for a life that embraces water. It remains to fill the collective memory with new symbols and meanings, which is full of the virtual and artificial. Our proposal is a first step towards reviving forgotten landscapes and symbolizing the beginning of ecological recovery. Our proposal represents the Han River landscape in its most natural form, rather than an architecture of artificial lines.
