건축공방은 일상의 건축을 생각하고, 짓고, 누리고, 공유하는 건축가들입니다.
건축공방이라는 이름은 두 가지 뜻을 가지고 있다. 하나는 ‘건축가의 작업실(Workshop)’ 이라는 공방의 의미이고, 다른 하나는 ‘서로 의견을 주고받는 토론(Discussion)’ 이라는 공방의 의미이다. 건축은 결과적으로 보면, 시각적인 작업이지만 태생은 철학적이고 합리적인 사고를 동반하는 작업이기도 하다. 그런 이유로 우리는 스케치 만큼이나 토론과 대화를 중요시하면서 작업을 진행하는데, 이런 방식은 더 영향력 있는 작업과 결과를 가능하게 한다.
건축공방은 일상의 건축을 생각하고, 짓고, 누리고, 공유하는 건축가이다. 우리가 말하는 일상의 건축은 높은 수준, 즉 건강한 환경의 건축을 의미하고, 더 많은 사람들이 이를 누릴 수 있는 확대된 건축문화를 말한다.
We are Architects, who think, create, enjoy and share everyday Architecture.
The title 'ArchiWorkshop' has two meanings. One is 'workshop of artisans', and the other is the meaning of 'attacking and defending to each other through discussion'. From a result perspective of view, architecture is a visual work. But at the same time, its origin accompanies philosophy and rational thinking. For that reason, we discuss and converse as much as sketching and this approach allows us for more influential operations and results.
We, ArchiWorkshop, think, create, enjoy and share everyday architecture. Our 'Everyday architecture' has meaning of high level of architecture, namely, architecture with healthy environment and expansion of this architecture culture to more people to share.

건축공방 대표 심희준(Sim Hee-Jun)은 스위스 취리히 공대에서 교환학생으로 수학하고, 독일 슈트트가르트 대학을 졸업(디플로마)하였다. 이후 렌조피아노 건축사무소 (Renzo Piano Building Workshop | Paris), 헤르조그 앤 드뫼론 건축사무소 (Herzog & de Meuron | Basel), 라쉬 앤 브라다취 건축사무소 (Rasch & Bradatsch | Stuttgart) 등 유럽의 주요 건축설계사무소에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. 현재 연세대학교와 국민대학교에서 건축설계스튜디오를 지도하며 겸임교수로 활동하고 있으며, 이전에는 서울시립대학교, 한국예술종합학교, 중앙대학교 등에서 설계 스튜디오를 지도하였다. 2018년부터 A’ Design Award & Competition 심사위원으로 활동하고 있으며, 2019 젊은 건축가상을 수상하였다. 2021 서울도시건축비엔날레 Global Studios의 큐레이터를 맡았고, 2023년 삼성물산 Creative Director로 위촉되었다. 또한 제6기 대통령 소속 국가건축정책위원회 위원으로 활동하며 공공건축과 국가 건축정책의 방향 설정에 참여하였고, 현재 새건축사협회 정책위원, 건축명장 운영위원, SH 청신호 건축가로 활동하는 한편, KAIST AIM 최고위과정 62기에 참여하며 건축의 영역을 기술과 산업 전반으로 확장해가고 있다.
Sim Hee-Jun is a co-founder of ArchiWorkshop. He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart in Germany, after participating in an exchange program at ETH Zürich, and received both his Vordiplom and Diplom there. He subsequently gained professional experience at a broad range of leading European architectural offices, including Renzo Piano Building Workshop (Paris), Herzog & de Meuron (Basel), and Rasch & Bradatsch / SL-Rasch (Stuttgart).
He is currently an Adjunct Professor leading architectural design studios at Yonsei University and Kookmin University, and has previously taught at the University of Seoul, Korea National University of Arts, and Chung-Ang University. Since 2018, he has served as a Grand Jury Member of the A’ Design Award & Competition, and in 2019 he received the Korea Young Architect Award.
He served as a Member of the 6th Presidential Commission on Architecture Policy, contributing to the development of public architecture and national architectural policy in Korea. He was also the Curator of Global Studios for the 2021 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, and was appointed Creative Director of Samsung C&T in 2023. He is currently active as a Policy Committee Member of the Korean Institute of Architects, an Operating Committee Member of Master Builder, an Advisor to Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH), and is also participating in the 62nd KAIST AIM Executive Program, expanding his engagement across architecture, technology, and industry.

건축공방 대표 박수정(Park Su-Jeong)은 광운대학교 건축공학과를 졸업하고, 네덜란드 델프트 공과대학교에서 에라스무스 교환학생으로 수학한 뒤, 독일 슈트트가르트 대학을 졸업(디플로마)하였다. 이후 유럽의 주요 건축설계사무소인 베니쉬 건축사무소 (Behnisch Architekten | Stuttgart), 메카누 건축사무소 (Mecanoo Architects | Delft), 오이코스 (Oikos | Korea, Wageningen)에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. 이전에는 광운대학교와 한국예술종합학교에서 설계 스튜디오를 지도하였다. 2019 젊은 건축가상을 수상하였으며, 2021 서울도시건축비엔날레 Global Studios의 큐레이터를 수행하였다. 2023년 삼성물산 Creative Director로 위촉되었고, 현재 새건축사협회 부회장 및 정책위원, 서울시 공공건축가, 동작구 경관위원, 안성시 공공건축심의위원, 시흥시 청소년수련시설 건립심의위원 등으로 활동하고 있다. 또한 서울대학교 TAIC(AI 최고위과정) 1기에 참여하며 건축과 인공지능, 산업의 접점을 확장하는 실천을 이어가고 있다.
Park Su-Jeong is a co-founder of ArchiWorkshop. She studied architecture at Kwangwoon University, and later participated in the Erasmus exchange program at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, before receiving her Diplom from the University of Stuttgart in Germany. She subsequently gained professional experience at several leading European architectural offices, including Behnisch Architekten (Stuttgart), Mecanoo Architects (Delft), and Oikos (Korea / Wageningen).
She previously taught architectural design studios at Kwangwoon University and Korea National University of Arts. In 2019, she received the Korea Young Architect Award, and in 2021 she served as the Curator of Global Studios for the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism.
In 2023, she was appointed Creative Director of Samsung C&T. She is currently active as Vice President and Policy Committee Member of the Korean Institute of Architects, a Public Architect for the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a Landscape Committee Member of Dongjak District, an Architecture Review Committee Member of Anseong City, and a Committee Member for the Siheung Youth Training Facility Development Project. She is also participating in the 1st TAIC (AI Executive Program) at Seoul National University, expanding her engagement across architecture, artificial intelligence, and industry.
