The Cheongju Wholesale Market is a place where various logistics activities take place. Efficiency through clear internal and external circulation was a basic priority, and consideration was given to making it an inclusive space where local residents could meet and interact with each other. It proposes a dynamic and modern image of the market through a gable roof designed based on variable spatial composition and sustainability through modules.

In the context of urban planning, the site has regional characteristics such as cultivated land located on flat land. A specialized space was planned by arranging a 'market yard' at the entrance so that connection and opening with the surroundings can be made. The wide open public space combined with the marketplace is designed flexibly to become a center for the entire community and a basis for civic engagement and activity in a safe environment.

청주 농수산물 도매시장은 다양한 물류 활동이 이루어지는 곳으로 명확한 내 외부 동선을 통한 효율성을 기본적인 우선순위에 두었고, 지역주민들이 만나고 서로 교류할 수 있는 포용력 있는 공간이 될 수 있도록 고민 되었다. 모듈을 통한 가변성적인 공간구성과 지속가능성을 기반으로 설계된 박공지붕형태를 통해 역동적이고 현대적인 시장의 이미지를 제안한다.대지는 도시계획적 맥락에서 평지에 위치한 경작지와 같은 지역적인 특성을 가진다. 주변과의 연결과 열림이 이루어질 수 있도록 '시장마당'을 입구에 배치하여 특화된 공간으로 계획하였다. 넓게 열린 공공 공간이 시장과 결합되면서 지역사회 전체의 센터가 되고, 안전한 환경에서 시민 참여와 활동의 기초가 될 수 있도록 유연하게 설계되었다.
